I have a number of dies which I have never used. I love a bargain, especially if it’s dies and/or stamps. Many of my bargains get put into my storage system and lie unused for months. These are some cute all occasion cards which I made using some of my Sizzix thinlits bargains namely the SIZZIX Thinlits FLOWER CARD set and Daisies Framelits Stamp & Die-cut set. I die cut the flower card x 2 in black to make the background and layered onto a white mat. The centres of the flowers were coloured with promarkers. I stamped the Daisies Framelits stamps with Tim Holtz distress ink to co-ordinate with the colour of the base card blank. I applied Glossy accents to the centre of the flowers and embellished with co-ordinating gross grain ribbon. I chose generic sentiments and stamped in Black archival ink then die cut using Crealies Nest-Lies Double Stitch Circles. I left the cards blank and made an extra sentiment for each card which could easily be stuck over the existing one giving me options for last minute unexpected/forgotten birthdays etc. They are all made with the same dies but I varied the orientation of the cards.
