Long time, no see, fellow crafters. Have been having a busy time of things with holiday and family commitments taking up lots of my time. Together with the fact that I am still a relative novice at all the web site stuff so it takes me ages to do all the back ground stuff that results in my pictures appearing here on the site. Thank you for bearing with me.
This is the first of a number of posts that will be following in relative quick succession so I thought I’d start with something I’m really pleased with. My daughter’s best friend got married recently and I’ve been involved from the start. The bride to be then, was very clear on her theme and wanted to make her own invitations. She’d never crafted before and had little or no tools or equipment. We had a lovely day crafting coming up with some simple designs that she could easily recreate with minimal equipment. She made the most amazing save the date cards and followed these up with wonderful invitations.
When the hen party came around, my daughter asked me to help her put together a survival kit for the hens to take with them. She organised the contents and the graphics used and I made the boxes, tags and labels.
My daughter then asked me make a card for the wedding, so it was natural to use the same theme. Take a look below to see what I came up with. Hope you like it.
