Regular followers of my blog will know that ‘Vintage’ is not really my preferred style. So you’ll understand my dilemma when I was asked to create a special vintage style card for a friend to give to his partner. I have very few dies and resources that I would class as vintage so I turned to my trusty CD’s. Thankfully Joanna Sheen came up trumps for this one. I created an 8″ x 8″ square box easel card using papers and toppers printed from Joanna Sheen ‘Enchanted Christmas’ CD Rom and Hot Off The Press ‘Vintage Christmas’ CD Rom. I used various dies including: Paper discovery card builder nested square dies, Spellbinders shapeabilities poinsettia dies, unbranded berry sprig dies and the Quickutz Cookie cutter dies ‘Merry Christmas’ sentiment die. I enhanced the edges of my mats and layers with gilding wax and added Glossy Accents and gilding wax to the topper.
