Extra special 18th birthday card made predominantly using photographs of the recipients’ actual bedroom and belongings, these were hand cut and decoupaged, then enhanced where appropriate with glossy accents. Embellishments cut using Quickutz 2×2 fishing rod die (invisible thread used for fishing line), Sizzix originals electric guitar, favourite sneekers (white embroidery thread used for laces) and shadow box number dies (embossed with woodgrain embossing folder), wooden plaques made using marianne dies, sentiments cut using cuttlebug typewriter alphabet and Tattered Lace sentiment dies. Background of card stamped using stamps from issue 31 of creative stamping magazine and inked with distress ink, Wood effect shadow box inked with distress ink through woodgrain stencil. Fishing photo and frame cut using Tattered Lace essential nesting rectangle dies.
