I’ve seen lots of cute ideas for cards made with inky backgrounds and simple silhouettes so I thought I’d have a play. I often craft with my crafting best buddy whom I’ve never actually met. But, with the wonders of Whatsapp we craft together, share ideas hints and tips. So one day we decided to make some inky backgrounds together. After a relatively short time I had quite a pile of them, smooshed, blended, splattered etc. Then came the challenge to make them into cards. I used Black die cuts and added gems, glossy accents and small sized sequin confetti for subtle touches of sparkle and shine. Here are the results. All cards are A6 in size and just perfect to keep in a drawer for those times when I need a last minute card.
